SPEED-B -- Software performance enhancement for encryption and
decryption, and benchmarking
October 19-21, 2016, Utrecht, The Netherlands

Call for contributions:

This conference addresses efficient and secure software implemenation of
secret-key and public-key cryptography and benchmarking. This conference
follows the successes of the earlier SPEED and SPEED-CC conferences and
extends the scope to benchmarking of software.

There will be six invited talks along with contributed talks which
are selected based on submitted papers and a refereeing process. As
for all ECRYPT-CSA workshops, there will be no formal proceedings for
SPEED-B but a workshop record with all accepted papers.

* SPEED asks for submissions on the following topics

- software implementation of public-key systems
- software implementation of hash functions and symmetric-key systems
- algorithmic speed-ups of symmetric and public-key systems
- CPU specific speed-ups

- benchmarking APIs
- benchmarking platforms and compilers
- comparison and evaluation of benchmarking results

Oct 19 - 21, 2016: SPEED-B workshop in Utrecht

We explicitly also appreciate submissions of work in progress; one goal of the
workshop is to engage in discussions of ongoing work in the field. The
submission should start with a title, a list of the authors together with
their affiliations and a short abstract describing the content of the paper.
This should be followed by an extended abstract of at least 5 and at most 16
pages excluding appendices. The authors of accepted papers must guarantee to
present their paper at the workshop.

acknowledgment of submission no later than one day after submission.
